7月にスタートした、日中合同ワークショップの後半が、9月14日〜16日にかけて中国遼寧省の大連で開催されました。広島大学と大連理工大学・大連民族大学による学生グループが仕上げの作業を行い、計画・デザインの最終案を発表しました。

今回のワークショップの課題は、広島市内にあるアストラムラインの延伸によって公共交通の結節点としての発展が期待される「西広島駅」の周辺地域をデザインすることでした。とても短い期間でしたが、学生グループは調査を踏まえたプラニングとデザインを提示しました。

The second half of the Japan-China joint workshop, which started in July, was held in Dalian, Liaoning Province, China, from 14-16 September. Student groups from Hiroshima University and Dalian University of Technology, Dalian Minzu University completed the project and presented their final plans and designs.

The task of the workshop was to design the area around Nishi Hiroshima Station, which is expected to develop as a public transport node with the extension of the Astram Line in Hiroshima City. Although it was a very short period of time, the student groups completed their planning and design based on their research.
