3月26日から30日まで、建築構造学研究室の教員2名と学生3名が、中国四川省成都市にある西南交通大学を訪れ、JSPS二国間交流事業に基づく研究交流を行いました。

学術研究会を開催し、私たちは建築構造に適用される様々な減衰装置や地震応答評価方法に関する研究成果を報告しました。

中国側からは、超高性能コンクリート(UHPC)を使用した橋脚に関する研究や、振動台を用いた建築非構造部材の実験装置の開発などが報告され、有意義な意見交換が行われました。

From March 26th to 30th, two faculty members and three students from the Building Structures Lab visited the research groups at the Department of Civil Engineering of Southwest Jiaotong University in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China.

We held a forum and presented research findings on various damping systems applicable to architectural structures and seismic response evaluation methods.

The Chinese researchers gave presentations on topics such as bridge piers using ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) and the development of experimental equipment for nonstructural members using shake tables. The forum sparked insightful discussions and fruitful exchanges of ideas.
