中国遼寧省大連において、9月30日〜10月4日にかけて合同デザインワークショップが開催されました。大連理工大学・大連民族大学から16名、広島大学から10名の学生が参加しました。

今回のワークショップの課題は、戦前に日本企業の「郊外土地開発会社」が大連市内の丘陵地帯を購入し、そこを郊外住宅地として開発した文化街と呼ばれるエリアのリノベーションです。この地区には主に「和風洋式」の独立住宅が建てられ、戦後も当時のまま保存されてきました。短期間でしたが、学生グループはプラニングとデザインの方向性を提示してくれました。この続きは11月に広島で実施し、ワークショップの最終的な成果として計画・デザインを提案する予定となっています。

A joint design workshop was held in Dalian, Liaoning Province, China, from September 30 to October 4. sixteen students from Dalian University of Technology and Dalian Minzu University, along with ten students from Hiroshima University, participated.

The theme of this workshop is the renovation of Bunka Street, an area developed before World War II by a developer, in which Japan was involved. Houses built at the time of the original development still remain in this area.

Although the workshop was short, the student groups presented planning and design directions. The continuation of this project will take place in Hiroshima in November, where the final planning and design proposals will be presented as the outcomes of the workshop.
