研究の概要説明
こども時代に夢中になった遊び、人とのあたたかな関わり、暮らしの中の心地よさ、といった経験を蓄積することは、その後の人生において有形無形な支えとなります。そのため、子どもの豊かな経験を育むことのできる建築や環境について考究し、またそうした環境を整えていくことは、社会的意義の大きいものです。そこで研究では、社会的養護の関る施設やグループホーム、保育園や幼稚園・こども園などを主な対象に、子どもと家族や養育者の行為や思いを捉え、それらの背景にある福祉学や教育学の知見も参照しながら、これからの施設や住まいのあり方を探求しています。
Accumulating experiences such as the play you indulged in during your childhood, the warm interactions you had with others, and the comfort you felt in your daily life will provide tangible and intangible support in your later life. Therefore, the study of buildings and environments that can foster children’s rich experiences and the preparation of such environments are of great social significance. For this reason, in my research, I first try to capture the actions and thoughts of children and their families and caregivers, focusing on institutions and group homes related to social care, nursery schools and kindergartens and children’s nurseries. Based on this, we are exploring the future of facilities and housing by referring to the knowledge of social welfare studies and pedagogy behind them.

既存住宅を活用したグループホームのあり方
余剰住宅ストックが問題となる今日、既存住宅をグループホームに活用する方法が求められている。そこで、①既存住宅のグループホーム活用における行政手続きの実態と課題把握、②既存住宅の活用方法を体系化を目的とした研究を行っている
Group homes using existing homes
Today, with excess housing stock becoming a problem, there is a need for ways to use existing homes as group homes. Therefore, research is being conducted with the objectives of (1) understanding the actual state and issues of administrative procedures in the use of group homes for existing housing and (2) systematizing how existing housing can be used.
児童相談所一時保護所の施設環境に関する研究
家庭福祉対応の最前線にありながらも施設整備が等閑視されてきた児童相談所一時保護所を取り上げ、一時保護所に求められる役割・機能や空間構成を整理し、施設整備を行う際の考え方や手続き、建築上の留意点や工夫事例等を備えた建築計画マニュアルを作成することを目的とした研究を行っている
Research on the institutional environment of child guidance center temporary shelter
The purpose of this project is to organize the roles, functions and spatial structure required of temporary shelters for child guidance centers, and to prepare a building planning manual with ideas and procedures for facility development and architectural considerations.
就学前施設における園庭整備のあり方
近年の園庭整備事例を通じて、整備の傾向を把握し、保育者が整備を行うことの意義を明らかにした。さらに整備が保育の質的・肯定的変化につながる好循環が起きている実態を「園庭環境創造」と定義した上で、整備が園庭環境創造へとつながるための、整備に関わるメンバーと整備のステップに関するモデルを示した。
How nursery facilities improve the garden environment
Through examples of garden maintenance in recent years, the trend of maintenance was grasped and the significance of nurseries’ maintenance was clarified. The study also presents a model of the steps needed for maintenance to lead to a virtuous cycle of qualitative and positive changes in child care.
社会的養護施設における環境整備支援
施設建て替えや増改築や職員による環境整備を行う社会的養護施設に対し、建築計画の策定等の支援をおこなっている。
Support of environmental improvement in Children’s Homes
Support such as the formulation of building plans is provided to social care facilities that are reconstructing or expanding.
