瀬戸内海における木造建築生産システムに関する研究

過疎化の進展が著しい瀬戸内海にある島嶼部。こうした地域における建築生産とその仕組みは、人口減少社会の建築のあり方を考察する上で示唆深い。独立型と架橋型に分けて、建築生産を担う建設会社や専門工事業者がどのような多能的な組織を形成しているかを明らかにした。

Study on Wooden Building Production System in the Seto Inland Sea

Islands in the Seto Inland Sea, depopulation has been progressing remarkably. The reality of building production and its structure in these areas suggests considering the state of construction society in a society with a declining population. We have clarified what kind of multi-functional organizations are formed by construction companies and specialized contractors responsible for building production, dividing them into independent and bridging types.

応急仮設住宅の建設・再利用に関する研究

応急仮設住宅は、短期間の居住のために建設される。しかし、年々その性能や品質も向上しており、再利用が期待されている。木造仮設住宅を対象に再利用とその可能性の実態を明らかにした。

Study on construction and reuse of temporary housing

Temporary housing is constructed for short-term residence and their performance and quality have been improving year by year. Then, their reuse is expected. This study clarified the actual reuse situation and its potential for temporary wooden housing.

多能な職人と生産組織に関する研究

職人不足が大きな社会問題となっている。これを解消するには職人や生産組織の多能化が有効であると考えられる。そこで、職人の多能工化への意向や多能な職人や生産組織の実態を明らかにし、近い未来にふさわしい建築生産を担う職人や組織のあり方を探求している。

Study on multi-skilled technicians and production organizations

The shortage of technicians has become a major social problem. It is considered adequate to make technicians and production organizations multi-skilled to solve this problem. Therefore, we are clarifying the intention of technicians to become multi-skilled workers and the actual conditions of multi-skilled technicians and production organizations. I am exploring the ideal technicians and organizations responsible for building in the near future.

広島県工務店実勢調査

木造住宅・建築の生産活動やその他の事業・取り組み、各種政策への考えなどの実態を把握するため、広島県工務店協会の会員工務店に対して行なっている調査。本調査を5年に1回、その間に簡易調査を実施することにより、工務店の実態を定点観測している。

Survey on the actual situation of wooden house builders in Hiroshima Prefecture

This survey is conducted among member firms of the Hiroshima Association of Home Builders to ascertain the actual status of production activities, other projects and initiatives, and opinions on various policies in the wood-frame housing industry. The main survey is conducted once every five years, with a simplified survey conducted in between, to provide a fixed-point observation of the actual status of the construction industry.

木造住宅モデルハウスプロジェクト

将来の住宅取得層である学生中心となり、研究室が木造住宅設計を行うプロジェクトである。学生の設計案に基づいて、工務店と詳細設計を行い、新しいライフタイルに適したモデルハウスを新築しています。

Model wooden house newly building project

This project was a wooden house design project led by students, who are the future homeowners. Based on the proposed design, the laboratory works with builders on a detailed design and construction of model houses suitable for the new lifestyle.

大崎上島町リノベーションプロジェクト

大崎上島町との共同研究の一環で、使われなくなった木江町内にある住宅（旧警察官舎）を、「学び」をテーマにしたまちづくりの拠点としてリノベーションするプロジェクト。学生によるプロジェクトマネジメントを通して、改修工事や地域住民を巻き込むイベントなどを進めている。

Renovation Project in Osaki-kamishima Town

This is a joint research project with the town of Osaki-Kamishima. The project is renovating a disused house in Kinoe-cho and promoting community development in a depopulated area. Students are providing project management and are carrying out renovation work and events that involve local residents.

佐木島解体アップサイクルプロジェクト

解体により建築のライフサイクは終焉すると考えられることが一般的である。アップサイクルが可能となれば、建築は解体から再始動できるようになる。このプロジェクトでは、広島県三原市にある佐木島にある空き家を対象にして、東京大学や海外の大学と連携し、建築のアップサイクルを通して新しいエコシステムのあり方を考えている。

Demolition Upcycling Project in Sagishima Island

It is commonly believed that demolition marks the end of an architectural life cycle. If upcycling becomes possible, architecture can be restarted from demolition. This project, which involves a vacant house on Sakijima Island in Mihara City, Hiroshima Prefecture, is a collaboration with the University of Tokyo and overseas universities to consider a new type of eco-system through architectural upcycling.
